OUR STUDENTS
The Valley School offers 120 enrollment slots for students in grades 6, 7 and 8. As a Montessori-inspired middle school, students are placed into cohorts with a mix of all grades.
Clubs & Activities
Students at The Valley School have the opportunity to be a part of more than twenty school clubs that meet during lunch and after school. We also offer a culinary arts program that gives every student the opportunity to learn the basics of cooking in our commercial kitchen. Every Thursday and Friday, students prepare lunches for the entire campus. Our extra curricular theatre program offers two stage productions each year giving students the chance to find their love of the performing arts.

The 2022-2023 academic year clubs include: Video Game Club, DnD Club, Art Club, Gingerbread Club, Dodgeball Club, Card Game Club, Gospel Gang, GSA Club, Coding Club, Corn Hole Club, Bowling Club, Origami Club, Chess Club, Band Club, Pokémon Club, Trivial Pursuit Club, Rat King Fan Club, Sewing Club, and more!
Competitions
Students at the Valley School are given ample opportunities to take their love of learning outside of the classroom. In preparation for life after middle school, students compete in several academic competitions with other students from schools around the Rogue Valley.
The 2022-2023 academic year competitions include: MathCounts, Brain Bowl, Oregon Battle of the Books, Southern Oregon University's Jefferson Scavenger Hunt, and more!​
